An F/A-18 Hornet with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 224 drops ordnance during exercise Carolina Thunder over Townsend Bombing Range, Georgia, Oct. 27, 2021. Marines with Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 31 trained with Joint Terminal Attack Controllers and Reserve squadrons to improve proficiency in close-air support and forward air control.
