EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 29, 2021) Damage Controlman Fireman Vinz Torres, from Alameda, Calif., holds an Aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) hose on the flight deck of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) during crash and salvage training. Dewey is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
