Significant repairs to the concrete and stone structures that make up the east pier of Vermilion Harbor are completed in Vermillion, Ohio, October 29. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District and its contractor, Illinois-based Kovilic Construction Company Inc., began construction in June on the $2.2 million project which encompassed 70 feet of the most degraded section of the pier.
