A Trooper receives the 1st Cavalry Division patch during a patch ceremony Nov. 3 at the Mission Training Complex on Fort Hood, Texas. The Division recently inaugurated Pegasus Troop, a reception company, in an effort to integrate and welcome Troopers and their Families into the “First Team.” Nov. 3’s ceremony was the first of its kind where approximately 66 Troopers received a 1CD Patch formally joining America’s First Team.
