U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Brennan Paden (center), a member from the 193rd Special Operations Security Forces Squadron, fires an M4 carbine as part of a BETA version of the new Security Forces qualification course Oct. 25, 2021 at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. The new course uses training on a quarterly basis, instead of annual, where each member fires with the M4 carbine and the M18 pistol in various supported and unsupported firing positions.
