Alameda, CA (Nov. 8, 2021) Rear Adm. John A. Schommer, Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC), receives an influenza vaccination from Chief Hospital Corpsman Christina Harrison while on his visit to Navy Operational Support Center (NOSC) Alameda. Schommer has visited multiple NOSCs thanking Full Time Support (FTS) Sailors and discussing their role in mobilization readiness. CNRFC is responsible for Navy Reserve readiness, oversight, manpower management, logistics, financial management, mobilization and training of nearly 60,000 Sailors in executing operational support and warfighting missions.
