Washington Army National Guard Soldiers, assigned to 506th Military Police Company, 420th Chemical Battalion, 96th Troop Command, conduct an oleoresin capsicum (pepper) spray familiarization course as part of their monthly training on Camp Murray, Wash., Nov. 6, 2021. After being sprayed, the MPs would then negotiate a multi-station obstacle course that required the use of various non-lethal tactics to subdue or repel aggressors. The course helped the MPs understand the effects of OC spray, and to therefore use the minimum force possible in order to control a situation. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt.
