U.S. Navy PO3 Marvin Butler, a corpsman with Marine Corps Security Force Regiment, assists U.S. Marines with their protective gear before conducting Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor (MAI) course training at Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Virginia, October 28, 2021. During MAI Course 101-22, Marines are trained in hand-to-hand combat, weapons of opportunity techniques and various forms of combatives in which proper protective gear is essential to ensure the Marines safety.
