211107-M-PO838-1369 MALA NATIONAL TRAINING CENTER, Israel (Nov. 7, 2021) Marines assigned to Alpha Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit enter a tunnel with a David’s Shield while training in a sub-terrain environment during an Israel interoperability exercise at Mala National Training Center, Israel, Nov. 7. This is the United States’ and Israel’s first bilateral training since Israel joined the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and is a robust demonstration of both nations’ commitment to stability in the region.
