TSgt Nozomi Nakamoto works as a Maintenance technician in the Communication and Electronics squadron, Operations Support Wing. She was inspired to join the JASDF when her brother joined the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and has since been in for 21.5 years! Nakamoto works with the 374th Communications Squadron frequently, including setting up telecommunications devices for the Japanese-American Friendship Festival and during joint trainings. TSgt Nakamoto encourages visitors in Japan to explore Japanese castles, go skiing and go cherry-blossom viewing!

中本のぞみ２等空曹は、作戦システム運用隊の通信電子隊整備小隊員です。中本２曹は、自身の兄が海上自衛隊で勤務していたことから自衛隊に興味をもち、航空自衛隊へ入隊して２１年半になります。中本２曹は、日米友好祭や日米共同訓練において通信器材の設置を行う等、第３７４通信中隊と頻繁に業務を共にしています。日本を訪れる方々にはぜひ、城めぐりやスキー、お花見を楽しんでもらいたいそうです。
