U.S. Marines with Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic (FMFLANT), Marine Forces Command (MARFORCOM), Marine Forces Northern Command (MARFORNORTH) and Intermediate Logistics Embarkation Course (ILEC) wait to board the USS Gungston Hall (LSD 44) at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia, Nov. 16, 2021. Marines with FMFLANT, MARFORCOM, MARFORNORTH and ILEC toured USS Gungston Hall to learn about operations aboard U.S. Navy ships for the first time. USS Gunston Hall is the 4th Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship and the second U.S. Navy ship to be named for Gunston Hall and "Father of the Bill of Rights."
