DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (Nov.10, 2021) – U.S. Navy Lt. Alexander Miller, from Elk Grove Village, Ill., an intensive care unit nurse and the training officer assigned to the Michaud Expeditionary Medical Facility at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti (CLDJ) conducts emergency hemorrhage-control training for members of the local guard force and staff of the United States Embassy to Djibouti. The training drills emergency preparedness in the face of a mass casualty event. Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing support to ships, aircraft and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
