NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Sept 15, 2021) – Electrician’s Mate 2nd Class Christiana Tinoco a Command Fitness Leader (CFL) aboard the Nimitz-Class aircraft carrier USSGeorge Washington (CVN 73) demonstrates a proper push-up in preparation for the Navy Physical Readiness Test (PRT). George Washington is undergoing refueling complex overhaul (RCOH) at Newport News Shipbuilding. RCOH is a multi-year project performed only once during a carrier’s 50-year service life that includes refueling the ship’s two nuclear reactors, as well as significant repairs, upgrades and modernization.
