    Defense Department Support to FEMA COVID-19       

    U.S. Navy Lt. j.g Matthew Cooper, center, assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command, San Diego, hugs a civilian caregiver at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, Nov. 17, 2021. Cooper assisted the medical center with his expertise as a registered nurse. Sailors assigned to NMRTC deployed from San Diego in support of the continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need.
