A Tikrit police officer concentrates on his assignment during a training scenario in Tikrit, Iraq, Dec. 12. The scenario was just one of many tasks Iraqi police had to complete during a five-day training course in the Salah ad Din capital. Military police from the 56th Military Police Company, attached to the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), developed the training program, which is designed to give a framework for the IPs to teach the same material to their peers.
