U.S. Indo-Pacific Command commander, Adm. John C. Aquilino, visited Japan to meet with senior Japanese leaders and reaffirm the importance of the U.S.-Japan Alliance on Nov. 11, 2021. He met with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Minister of Defense Nobuo Kishi, as well as the new Minister for Foreign Affairs Yoshimasa Hayashi.
