    211119-N-SI601-1135 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Nov. 19, 2021) Chief selectee’s sing Anchors Away in the hangar bay of the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during a Chief Petty Officer pinning ceremony. Thirty-three Sailors assumed the rank of chief petty officer during the ceremony. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
