A U.S. Air Force 33rd Maintenance Squadron corrosion control Airman prepares a 6000 series respirator for use during a paint job Oct. 22, 2021, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. In preparation for a new tail flash, the corrosion control section stripped the paint off of a newly acquired F-35A Lightning II aircraft, which was later designated as the 60th Fighter Squadron’s flagship jet.
