Soldiers from the 365th Engineer Battalion, Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, stand behind Vietnam War veterans during a Salute to Service football game at the U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Nov. 21, 2021. Military members were invited to the U.S. Bank Stadium to present the U.S. flag during the national anthem, and participate in a halftime show as a way to show appreciation for current military and veterans sacrifices. The Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for at least 50,000 Afghan evacuees at suitable facilities, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible.
