Senior leaders from US Army Alaska start putting up their tent, in negative 20 degree weather, for the night as they get ready to sleep at Black Rapids Training Site Nov 17 as a part of their Cold Weather Orientation Course. Black Rapids runs a “Train the Trainer” course and Cold Weather Orientation Course, for senior leaders, to provide units in USARAK with leaders that then go back to their units and train Soldiers in how to survive in the Arctic environment.
