A site plan for the beneficial use of dredged sediment placement area being constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District in Ashtabula, Ohio, November 3. The Buffalo District and its contractor, Michigan-based Great Lakes Docks and Materials, L.L.C., completed substantial construction of the area, with the creation of a submerged 1,500 linear foot stone wall off the west and south portions of the Ashtabula Harbor East Breakwater at a cost of $6.5 million.
