    U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Alexis Flippo, imagery analysis specialist with 1st Intelligence Battalion, I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, jumps from a platform while participating in intermediate swim qualification and water confidence training during a littoral mobility and detection exercise on Camp Pendleton, California, Nov. 9, 2021. The Marines conducted a rigorous water survival training package in preparation to conduct reconnaissance and route clearance during the culminating evolution of the exercise. During this exercise, 7th and 9th ESB are refining their skills with emerging Marine Corps technologies in order to facilitate follow-on forces’ littoral mobility from shallow water to the objective.
