Combat engineers with Littoral Engineer Reconnaissance Team and explosive ordnance disposal technicians with the Littoral Explosive Ordnance Neutralization team conducted an exercise to test the integration of light detection and ranging technologies for the reconnaissance of shallow water to land route clearing in support of amphibious operations. During this exercise, 7th and 9th ESB are refining their skills with emerging Marine Corps technologies in order to facilitate follow-on forces’ littoral mobility from shallow water to the objective.
