DEARBORN, Mich. -- Toni Baker, a nursing professional development specialist at Beaumont Hospital, fit tests U.S. Army 1st Lt. Emily Wilkins, a critical care nurse assigned to the 32nd Hospital Center, for an N95 respirator in Dearborn, Michigan, Dec. 1, 2021. To test the mask, Baker uses a sweet spray bottle to see if the Soldiers can taste anything; if so, the mask is defective and can risk the Soldier being exposed to COVID. Soldiers assigned to 32nd Hospital Center from Fort Polk, Louisiana, and San Antonio, Texas, deployed in support of the continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the whole-of-government COVID response. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
