An air traffic controller assigned to the 23rd Operations Support Squadron uses a mobile remote virtual tower to observe an airfield at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, Nov. 30, 2021. With this technology, air traffic controllers will be able to fully operate without the need for a large tower structure near an airfield runway, which could potentially be targeted at deployed locations.
