Command Sgt. Maj. Dennis Moody served over 30 years in the National Guard and retired as the state operations sergeant major at Joint Force Headquarters in Oklahoma City. He has received multiple awards in his career to include the Bronze Star and Humanitarian Service Medal. He deployed to Iraq in 2008 and served in various roles to include personnel non-commissioned officer in charge at JFHQ and NCOIC of the Oklahoma Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition. Moody's dedicated service was commemorated with the presentation of the Legion of Merit award in recognition of his exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements in the Oklahoma National Guard.
