Lt. Gen. A.C. Roper, Deputy Commander, U.S. Northern Command, was one of the guest speakers at the Long Range Discrimination Radar ceremony marking the completion of construction phase of the radar at Clear Space Force Station, Alaska, Dec. 6, 2021. The ceremony highlights the installation of the radar arrays on the LRDR and the transition to radar testing, training, and operations. Once fully operational, the LRDR will provide ability to simultaneously search and track multiple objects at very long ranges under continuous operation.
