WHITE BEACH, Japan (Dec. 2, 2021) Marines with the Maritime Raid Force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, fast rope from a UH-1Y Venom onto Army Landing Craft Utility vessel 2009 (USAV Calaboza) off the coast of Naval Base White Beach, Okinawa, Dec. 2. Collaborating with the 10th Support Group provided opportunity for the Marines to meet certification requirements for Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) training, which requires Marines to fast rope onto a vessel at sea.
