A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey with Marine Operational Test and Evaluation Squadron One (VMX-1) is staged with refueling equipment on the strategic expeditionary landing field at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Dec. 7, 2021. VMX-1 is supporting Operation OBSIDIAN ICEBERG by allocating MV-22 aircraft to support tactics, techniques and procedures development for lean replenishment of F-35B in an expeditionary advanced base operation concept.
