U.S. Navy recruits present a watermelon carved with the 2d Marine Division (MARDIV) logo during a Navy boot camp graduation at Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill., Dec. 10, 2021. Marines and Sailors with the 2d MARDIV attended graduation after sponsoring Navy recruit division 012 during its 8-week basic training. During that time, representatives from 2d MARDIVvisited multiple times to provide motivation, guidance and support to better acclimate recruits during their transition into the fleet.
