Chief Master Sergeant George Silva, Congratulations on your retirement! Chief Silva served his country for 32 years. Just to name a few of his accomplishments, while at the 48th Aerial Port Squadron he managed a 1.4 million dollar budget and supported transportation specialists on multiple programs impacting resiliency, morale, welfare and retention. Chief Silva was also responsible for a 9.4 million dollar building upgrade expanding training space, pavement improvements, communications and safety upgrades. He ensured that Airmen were mission ready supporting the downrange Combatant Commanders war fighters during COVID-19 pandemic challenge
