FARMINGTON, N.M. -- U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Bruce Gillingham, surgeon general of the U.S. Navy, N093/chief, bureau of medicine and surgery, and U.S. Navy Force Master Chief Michael J. Roberts, director of the Hospital Corps, are greeted by the lead officers-in-charge of the U.S. Navy medical response teams outside the San Juan Regional Medical Center during COVID response operations in Farmington, New Mexico, Dec. 13, 2021. The Sailors are deployed from California in support of the continued Department of Defense COVID response operations in order to help communities in need.
