Graham Guest, a firearms and close-quarter battle (CQB) instructor with Bob Dunkley Firearms and CQB Training Ltd., instructs U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Security Force Regiment on pistol handling during exercise Tartan Eagle Phase II, Northumbria Police Range, Wallsend, England, Dec. 11, 2021. CQB training allowed U.S. Marines to refine their skills alongside British Royal Marines with a similar occupation field in efficiently engaging an enemy indoors. Exercise Tartan Eagle is a bilateral biyearly training exercise in which the U.S. Marines and their British counterparts travel to each other's training facilities to compare CQB strategy and tactics.
