U.S. Pacific Fleet Deputy Surgeon and Medical Master Chief along with the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Pearl Harbor (NMRTC PH) triad welcomed a group of 47 hospital corpsmen, providers, pediatricians, nurses, and preventive medicine technicians who traveled from commands across Navy Medicine to support the medical response to the Red Hill water contamination issue on Friday, December 10, 2021. The augmentees currently work alongside NMRTC PH and Pacific Fleet Sailors in the Makalapa Ohana Clinic, Camp Halsey Medical Support Site, and Emergency Family Assistance Center to screen, treat, and document individuals and families affected by the water contamination.
