Richard Torbik, a civil engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, accepts his award for thirty-five years of service from district commander Col. James Handura at the district holiday party in Sacramento, California, December 10, 2021. Torbik was just one of the many employees who received length-of-service awards at the party, which contained both a virtual and in-person component. During the celebration, employees were able to ask the commander questions, receive awards, applaud teammates, and enjoy refreshments (in small groups) at the district headquarters.
