JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Dec. 3, 2021) - Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Neil Mercado and Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Jamie Noles transport a patient during Tactical Combat Casualty Care training at Naval Hospital Jacksonville and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Jacksonville. Mercado, a native of Dededo, Guam, says, “The TCCC course helps maintain the skills needed to reduce preventable deaths on the battlefield. The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in battle.” (U.S. Navy photo by Deidre Smith, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
