The 7th Bomb Wing received four awards during the Global Strike Challenge sit on display during Best Bomb Wing ceremony at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Dec. 16, 2021. Dyess members earned four awards with the “Best Bomb Wing,” Fairchild Trophy, going to the 7th Bomb Wing, “Best Bomber Maintenance” Ellis Giant Sword, going to 7th Maintenance Group, “Best B-1 Bomb Squadron” Eaker Trophy going to the 28th Bomb Squadron, and “Best Bomb,” Mitchell Trophy going to the 28th Bomb Squadron.
