DJIBOUTI, Djibouti (Dec. 16, 2021) U.S. Navy Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Casey Curry, from Roanoke, Va., a Sailor assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 10 (MSRON-10), Commander, Task Group 68.6, displays how to tie bowline knot during a six-week professional maritime orientation course with Djiboutian Navy recruits, Dec. 16, 2021. The professional maritime orientation course was designed around basic line handling, man overboard, engineering, seamanship, life-saving and nautical terminology. Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing support to ships, aircraft and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
