U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Miquel Aubert, 97th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) pavements and construction equipment apprentice, uses a board to float freshly poured concrete at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Dec. 9, 2021. The concrete is the foundation of a frangible flood gate designed by the 97 CES to prevent damage to the base’s permit fence during rain events.
