Girl Scouts and their siblings gave hand-made signs and cards to U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG), thanking them for establishing expeditionary field shower units outside of the Historic Hickam Officers’ Club on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Oahu, Hawaii, Dec. 16, 2021. U.S. Marines with 3rd MLG, as part of Task Force KULEANA, are providing support services such as drinking water, field expedient showers and laundry facilities to the residents of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam affected by the ongoing water issue. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
