Florida House of Representative Jason Shoaf gets fitted for a G-suit in preparation for an F-15C Eagle Civic Leader Flight at the 125th Fighter Wing, Jacksonville Air National Guard Base, FL, Dec. 20, 2021. Shoaf underwent a series of medical screenings and briefings to prepare for the flight which include getting suited for flight gear, familiarizing himself with equipment and learning how to respond to in-flight emergencies. Civic leader flights give state representatives like Shoaf an opportunity to better understand a particular weapons system, its capabilities and its role in the Air National Guard mission.
