NAVAL STATION GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba - (Dec. 20, 2021) -- Sailors remove the pelican hook on the anchor chain on the fo’c’sle of the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Milwaukee (LCS 5) as the ship arrives at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for a brief stop for fuel and provisions, Dec. 20, 2021. Milwaukee is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission, which includes counter-illicit drug trafficking missions in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
