JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Dec. 10, 2021) - Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Viictoria Hernandez dries a simulated patient during a First Receiver Operations Training (FROT) at Naval Hospital Jacksonville on Dec. 10. Hernandez, a native of Beaufort, South Carolina, says, "The FROT course is very beneficial and helps us be prepared and ready for anything. Glad to be a part of something big." FROT educates Navy Medicine first receivers on life-saving skills required to triage, initiate treatment, decontaminate, and save victims from chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and other hazards.
