Kim Davis, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego's commanding officer (center), congratulates Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Trena Ward, a Sailor assigned to NMRTC San Diego’s Directorate for Surgical Services (right), during a frocking ceremony at the hospital Dec. 22. The frocking ceremony was held for Sailors assigned to NMRTC San Diego's Directorate for Surgical Services who have been selected to advance to the next paygrade. NMRTC San Diego's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
