U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Matthew Clark, Task Force Liberty J6 Joint Operations Center watch officer, works on an Ethernet cable while installing internet in a barracks at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, Dec. 23, 2021. The Task Force Liberty J6 team worked to provide commercial internet to task force members living in a barracks who previously didn't have internet capabilities. The Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for at least 11,000 Afghan evacuees at Liberty Village, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible.
