Chief Master Sgt. Brian Coleman, senior enlisted leader for the Task Force Liberty Readiness, briefs visiting members of the 175th Wing on in-processing operations for Afghan visitors in the TF-L Readiness Center on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Dec. 1, 2021. Key leaders and personnel from the 175th Wing walked through TF-L facilities and Liberty Village to meet with 175th Wing Airmen supporting TF-L. The Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for at least 50,000 Afghan evacuees at suitable facilities, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible.
