Fort Pickett, Va. (Jan. 11, 2022) Cmdr. Mohenish Daughtry, Expeditionary Medical Facility–M, assigned to Task Force Pickett, from Sacramento, California conducts a medical screening of a 23rd Marine Regiment Marine during sick call at the Troop Medical Clinic. Daughtry is the lead of sick call at Task Force Pickett. She and her team are primary medical support for all active duty military here and she has been aboard just over two months. The Department of Defense, through U.S. Northern Command, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security, is providing transportation, temporary housing, medical screening, and general support for at least 50,000 Afghan evacuees at suitable facilities, in permanent or temporary structures, as quickly as possible.
