A Shishimai lion costume is displayed in Tsuha, Nakagusuku-village, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 12, 2022. Masami Goya, a fire captain with Marine Corps Installations Pacific Fire and Emergency Services (MCIPAC F&ES), has been a firefighter for MCIPAC F&ES since 1990, is an avid marathon, triathlon, and Ironman competitor and has been performing Shishimai, a Japanese traditional lion dance, for 41 years.
