Troopers with Alpha Co., 615th Aviation Support Battalion, establish a forward arming and refueling point (FARP) during the Air Cavalry Brigade’s demonstration of capabilities exercise at Oberdachstetten Training Area on Dec. 13, 2021.
FARPs allow commanders to extend the range and time on station of their aircraft to sustain aviation operations without the need for aircraft to return to the unit's central base of operations.
1ACB is continuously conducting rigorous training in realistic environments in preparation to work with NATO Allies and partners and to maintain unit and Soldier readiness. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Jason Greaves)
