ALBUQUERQUE, Nm-- U.S. Navy Ensign Haley Ehrhardt, an Emergency Department nurse assigned to the Naval Medical Center San Diego, Cailifornia, dons personal protective equipment (PPE) before treating a COVID positive patient during COVID response operations at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jan. 24, 2022. Using PPE while treating COVID patients helps maintain mission readiness and a healthy military. The Navy Sailors are a part of a medical response team that is deployed in support of the continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need.
